I have been reading more recipes than cooking recipes since I shattered my left wrist when I fell off our front step last week. Gary has had his hands full trying to be everything.
Thank God for my sister, Judy, who came for a few days to cook meals and help Gary with everyday chores, and my dear friend, Chuck, who has kept my hair clean and fluffed.
One doesn't realize how blessed we are that God gave us two hands. Now I will.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: It's hard to climb the ladder of success with your hands in you pockets.
GARY'S TIP: Strawberries can be kept firm for many days if you store them in a colander in the refrigerator, which allows the cold air to circulate between them. Never hull strawberries until they have been washed or they will absorb to much water and become mushy.
