Clifford Duane Bolduc, 66, Brainerd, passed away peacefully in his sleep Thursday, July 22, 2004.
He was born March 26, 1938, in Palisade to Meddy and Bertha Bolduc. He was the 11th of their 13 children. He attended Palisade schools and then worked in Cloquet at Diamond March.
He married Virgie Tibbetts in 1958. Together they had two sons, Jeff and Duane. He worked and was a member of the Teamster's Union in the Twin Cities for several years. He met and married ReNae Fortune in 1981 in Shakopee. Together they had two children; son, Matthew, and daughter, Jami.
Cliff enjoyed country music and playing his guitar, often with his family singing along. He loved to grow flowers, watch the weather and visit with his family.
Cliff is survived by his wife, ReNae; and his nine children and stepchildren; Jeff (Barbie) Bolduc, of Long Prairie; Duane (Teresa) Bolduc, of Bagley; Jodi (James) Niles, of Brainerd; Penni (Kevin) Dotzler, of Aitkin; Sheli (Larry) Schwegel, of Upsala; Misti Blomberg, of Bloomington; Kristi (Jason) Cockman, of Brainerd; Jami (Paul Munsch) Bolduc, of Brainerd; and Matthew Bolduc, of Brainerd; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his sisters, Violet (Joe) Tishmack, of Crosby, Fern (Jerry) Wersal, of Crosby, and Dorothy (Milt) Grover, of Remer; and his brother, Leonard Bolduc, of Pequot Lakes.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. He will be sadly missed and always fondly remembered.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Kimbler officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd. Friends may call from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
