Jensen's winning streak ends at North Central

North Central Motor Speedway was full of excitement and hot racing action Saturday as John Treichler swept the Wissota Street Stock division, ending Brad Jensen's winning streak.

Treichler got out front early in the feature race as Al Bauman slipped into second at the drop of the green. It was smooth sailing for Treichler until lap eight as a caution tightened the field.

But Treichler was on the gas and gone on the restart as he took a three-car lead across the finish line. The laps ran out for Brad Jensen, who worked his way from eighth to place second, followed by Donny Thomsen, Donnie Jensen, and Bauman.

Don Wermter scrambled out of his street stock and jumped into his modified to compete in the five-car Midwest Modified B feature. Bob Young was on the hunt as he took over on lap two.
