LITTLE FALLS - Beginning Monday, motorists on Highway 27 will be detoured via Morrison County Road 23 from Little Falls to Highway 25 in Pierz, the Minnesota Department of Transportation reported.
The 11-mile detour with be in place for three to four weeks and is necessary to allow crews to replace culverts.
The planned work is part of the $5.3 million safety and pavement improvement project, which began July 14 for Highway 27 and Highway 25 in Todd and Morrison counties. The entire project is slated to be done by early October.
Morrison board to meet Friday
LITTLE FALLS - The Morrison County Board will meet in a planning session at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the county board room.
Agenda items include a drug court update by the Drug Court Team; a public health report by Bonnie Paulsen; a GIS (Geographic Information System) report by Mike Disher and Chuck Forss; and an administrator's report by Steve Reger.
