Crunch, the Timberwolves mascot, will be visiting the Brainerd Early Childhood Family Education program at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Brainerd School District Learning Center, 311 10th Avenue Northeast in Brainerd. The visit is sponsored by US Bank.

The event is free and open for children eight years and younger and their parents. Crunch will be doing some exercises and hoop shooting with the children and posing for photographs so make sure to bring your camera. The event will include a make-your-own ice cream sundae bar.

There is no need to register.

4-H dog show scheduled Saturday

The Crow Wing County 4-H dog show will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds. The children and their dogs will compete in agility, obedience, rally and showmanship.

Class of 2000 reunion Saturday

The Brainerd High School class of 2000 has its 10-year high school reunion at 7 p.m. Saturday at Bada Bing's at 1807 Highway 371. Cost of $10. Significant others welcome. Two live bands are scheduled to appear.

Park and rec board to meet Monday

The Brainerd Park and Recreation Board will meet at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the conference room at Brainerd City Hall.
