Aitkin falls to Quamba

Chris Hoffman had the only RBI as the Aitkin River Hawks dropped a 4-3 decision to the Quamba Cubs in a 6-inning weather-shortened Eastern Minny League game Monday.

Hoffman had a single in the sixth for his 10th RBI of the season.

Kyle Hoffman doubled and Mitch Hodgman had two singles for the River Hawks.

Hodgman allowed three earned runs in four innings before being relieved by Matt Christensen.

Aitkin (5-10) plays a doubleheader at Hinckley beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday.
