Goedker released from hospital after possible allergic reaction
Brainerd City Council member Kevin Goedker, 34, was released from St. Joseph's Medical Center Wednesday afternoon after he became ill at Monday's council meeting.
Goedker is challenging Sen. Paul Koering, R-Fort Ripley, in the Sept. 12 primary for the Senate District 12 seat. Koering was endorsed by the party earlier this year.
The Brainerd Realtor was back at work Thursday and was planning to conduct a previously scheduled news conference Friday morning at Brainerd City Hall.
