CHADRON, Neb. -- Richard Lee Selner, 48, Chadron, Neb., died Monday, July 16, 2001.
He was born July 17, 1952, in Wagner, S.D., to Bud and Sally (Schroeder) Selner. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in Mitchell, S.D., in 1970 and attended the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, S.D. He served in the Air Force for four years. He worked for the American Cancer Society in Brainerd, and moved to Sioux Falls in 1999, working for Williams Automotive. He also worked for the American Red Cross as a fund-raiser.
Survivors include a son, Bradley Selner, Brainerd; a daughter, Laura Selner, Brainerd; a stepdaughter, Feather Selner, Brainerd; four brothers, David Selner, Sioux Falls, Douglas Selner, New Underwood, S.D., Bruce Selner, Littleton, Colo., and Gary Selner, Minneapolis; a sister, Pam Odland, Sioux Falls; and two stepgrandchildren.
His parents died earlier.
Services were Friday in Sioux Falls.
