Ski Gull's charitable gambling booth at Kelly's is under investigation for possible fraud, Minnesota Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement director Frank Ball reported.
Ball, whose division does legalized gambling investigation within the state, said the Minnesota Gambling Control Board called his office reporting irregularities in Ski Gull's reporting.
"They found some discrepancies in their reports to the (board)," Ball said. "We investigated and found some alleged fraud, a theft."
No arrests have been made. Alcohol and Gambling's investigation report has been sent to Cass County Attorney Earl Maus for consideration of charges.
Minnesota Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement is also continuing its investigation, Ball said.
Kelly's is on County Road 77 in Fairview Township, near the west side of Gull Lake.
