Hunt Technologies of Breezy Point announced Friday an alliance with CES International to bring a new, integrated energy management solution to electric and water utility customers.
This alliance will use the marketing and product strengths of both companies, integrating CES's outage management system with Hunt's Turtle automated meter reading system. The Minnesota-based Turtle System serves more than 1.5 million meter end points for rural electric cooperatives, municipals, and investor-owned utilities. Atlanta-based CES provides operations resource management solutions for some of the world's leading investor-owned utilities.
"This alliance enables us to offer all utilities -- cooperatives, municipals, and investor-owned -- a complete, integrated package of automated meter reading and outage management software," said Bruce Kraemer, CEO of Hunt Technologies.
