LITTLE FALLS -- Juliena Wuebben, 85, Little Falls, died Thursday, July 20, 2000, at St. Gabriel's Hospital of Little Falls.
She was born July 1, 1915, in Hartington, Neb., to Frank and Mathilda (Pick) Arens. She married Martin Charles Wuebben on Oct. 13, 1936, in Hartington, Neb. They farmed in Nebraska before moving to Baudette in 1954 where they also farmed. They moved to the Pierz area in 1955. She was active in the Christian Mothers. She worked at Fingerhut in St. Cloud. In 1982, they moved to Little Falls where they retired. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Little Falls. She had been a resident of St. Otto's Care Center for the past three years.
Survivors include a son, Rod Wuebben, Vista, Calif.; three daughters, Bette Knox, Brooklyn Park, Connie Wiseth, Little Falls, and Nancy Cantley, Cupertino, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Margaret Lammers, Teresa Hirschman and Mil Marx, all of Hartington, Neb.
Her husband, two sons, Cary Wuebben and Joseph Wuebben, a daughter, Sister Agathelia (Mathilda), four brothers, two sisters, and a grandchild, died earlier.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Pierz. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, with Christian Mothers praying the rosary at 4:30 p.m., and from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Brenny Funeral Home-West Chapel of Little Falls.
