HACKENSACK -- Robert Henry Juneau, 66, Hackensack, died Friday, July 19, 2002, at his home.
He was born Dec. 28, 1935, in Grand Forks, N.D., to Joseph and Irene (Hurst) Juneau. After graduating from high school and serving in the army, he began a 37-year career as a fiber optic specialist with Bell Telephone and USWest. He married Kay Peterson on Jan. 5, 1968. The couple lived in New Hope until 1992 and then moved to Hackensack. He was a Golden Valley fireman.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, David and Scott Carlson, both of Orlando, Fla., and Todd Juneau, Alexandria, Va.; a sister, Patricia Vincent, Northfield; and four grandchildren.
His parents and a sister, Beverly, died earlier.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with Pastor Rory Swenson officiating.
Memorials are preferred to St. Joseph's Hospice in Park Rapids.
