Pine River Art Club show set July 27-30

PINE RIVER -- The Pine River Art Club will host its 40th annual art show July 27-30 at Pine River Elementary School.
Oil, watercolor, pastel, inks and acrylics will be featured at the art show. Admission and refreshments are free. Daily door prizes and demonstrations will be offered.
The show will be run from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. July 27-29 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 30.
Demonstrations are scheduled for 2 p.m. July 27 for Bill Grange, pottery; 2 p.m. July 28 for Pat Daughty, oil; and 2 p.m. July 29 for Betty Sauer, watercolor.
Art club members will paint in the gallery hall during the show. The Pine River-Backus Family Center will show children's artwork as well.
The club will honor former member Verna Anderson.
