Albert F. Wiedewitsch, 78, Brainerd, died Tuesday, July 18, 2000, at home.
He was born April 24, 1922, in Brainerd to Henry and Augusta (Zanke) Wiedewitsch. He had been a lifetime area resident. He had been employed by the highway department for 23 years, retiring in 1984. He served on the Highway Department's Council No. 6 union. He also was a member of the Brainerd Archery Club. He married Mabel Irene Sinclair on Nov. 10, 1945, in Brainerd.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Darlene DeBusk and Violet McKenney, both of Brainerd; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Irene Wing; four brothers, Roy, Ed, Charlie and Henry; and two sisters, Violet Seagren and Minnie Minshaw, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Bethel Lutheran Church of Brainerd with Pastor Bob Twiton officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home of Brainerd and an hour before services Friday at the church.
