Road work continues at Highways 371 and 210

BAXTER - Crews continue to work on resurfacing the Highway 210 mainline, including turn lanes, from the Cass County line to Golf Course Road in Baxter.

Motorists are asked to slow down and watch for lane closures/shifts and flaggers controlling traffic at accesses Monday and Tuesday at the intersection of Highways 210 and 371.

During each scheduled time frame, crews will pave a different travel lane through the intersection. State Patrol troopers will be on site to direct traffic. Motorists are asked to take alternative routes to avoid travel delays.

The project is scheduled to be completed by July 29.

Baxter council to meet Wednesday

BAXTER - The Baxter City Council has scheduled a 2011 budget workshop at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Baxter City Hall.
