American Legion Auxiliary luncheon

The Brainerd American Legion Auxiliary will serve a hamburger hotdish luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the American Legion, 708 Front Street, Brainerd. Cost is $5. Call 829-2249 for take-out orders.

Brainerd Garden Club

The Brainerd Garden Club will meet at 10 a.m. Friday at the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds to clean in the horticulture building in preparation for the county fair. There will also be a tour of the Kids Kountry at the fairgrounds. Members are reminded to bring cleaning equipment and a brown bag lunch.

Fly-in pancake/sausage breakfast

BACKUS - There will be a fly-in pancake/sausage breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 27 at the Backus Airport. Cost is $4 for pre-sale; $5 at the door; and $2.75 for children under 12. The breakfast is a benefit for the Backus Fire Department and First Responders.
