Hines joins Hair Co. and Friends
Holly Hines recently joined The Hair Company and Friends in Brainerd.
She received her training at the Regency Beauty Academy in Blaine. She has four years experience as a hair stylist working with color, textures and cuts, most recently with the Golden Razor Salon in Andover.
Baker completes seminar
Jenny Baker, owner of Massage for Life & Despotic Body Wraps, Baxter, completed a second course on food genergetics with a focus on seasonal eating to increase energy.
Panache adds employees
Panache Salons and Day Spas, Baxter, added three employees, Laurie Zaleski, Jessie Riddle and Jamie Erckenbrack.
Zaleski is a nail technician specializing in acrylic nails. Riddle is a hair designer and Erckenbrack is a certified massage therapist.
Rude recognized for achievement
Midwest Bank's Baxter President and CEO Bryan Rude was recognized for his achievement in personal improvement, financial success, philanthropic contributions and volunteer service by the Minnesota Jaycees.
Rude was recognized as one of the "10 Outstanding Minnesotans" awards and will receive his award at a banquet in Minnetonka. An awards ceremony is set at the Center of Performing Arts in Hopkins on Sept. 13.
BMC adds two doctors
Dr. William Sachs, in gastroenterology, and Dr. Joseph Howard, in internal medicine, joined Brainerd Medical Center.
Howard, a Brainerd native, began working at BMC on July 7. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed his internal medicine residency at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. He practiced internal medicine at Cambridge Medical Center before joining BMC.
Sachs joined BMC on July 14. He received his undergraduate degree from Southwest State University and his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. In addition to his BMC position, Sachs will continue to serve in the Minnesota National Guard.
