Marie A. TeVogt
PIERZ -- Marie Agnes TeVogt, 98, Pierz, died Thursday, July 18, 2002, at the Pierz Villa in Pierz.
She was born July 29, 1903, in Mazeppa to Hugh and Mary Jane (McBride) Darcy. She graduated from Detroit Lakes High School. She married Leo T. TeVogt on Nov. 27, 1928, in Detroit Lakes. She was a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Joseph's Catholic Church for more than 50 years.
Survivors include two sons, James M. TeVogt, Wadena, and William H. TeVogt, Crystal; two daughters, Mary E. Brummer, Burnsville, and Jean A. Millner, St. Peter; 12 grandchildren; one foster grandchild; seven great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Her husband; four sons, Francis, Leo H., Gerald and Richard; a granddaughter; four brothers, William Hubert Darcy, William Hugh Darcy, Martin E. Darcy and Hugh C. Darcy; and three sisters, Julia Martin, Sarah Ebentier and Genevieve Cannon, died earlier.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz with the Rev. Gerald Dalseth officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday, with Christian Mothers rosary at 4:30 p.m. and parish prayers at 7:30 p.m., and from 8-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Shelley-Virnig Funeral Chapel in Pierz.
