Blanche Farr

PINE RIVER -- Blanche Farr, 91, Pine River, died Tuesday, July 18, 2000, at Whispering Pines Good Samaritan Center of Pine River.

She was born April 26, 1909, in Huntersville to Russell and Addie (Rider) Carner. She married Floyd Farr on July 26, 1927, in Sebeka. She was a member of the Mildred Bible Chapel and served on the Ansel Township Board for many years.

Survivors include two sons, Roy Farr, Backus, and Dale Farr, North Branch; two daughters, Ardis Paulson, Golden Valley, and Joyce Penas, Harris; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Florence Rothwell, Brainerd.

Her husband, two sisters, Coral and Beatrice, and two grandchildren, died earlier.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mildred Bible Chapel of Pine River with Pastor Jack Smith officiating. Burial will be in McKinley Cemetery of Pine River.
