MERRIFIELD -- Three people were injured in a three-vehicle accident Thursday night on Crow Wing County Road 3, just south of the intersection of County Road 4.
The accident happened about 10:12 p.m., the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department reported.
The drivers of all three vehicles were injured. Dawn Walker, 41, was waiting to make a left turn off of County Road 3 when she was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Edward Rolfson, 21, the sheriff's department reported. After Walker was hit by Rolfson, her vehicle was pushed into the northbound lane, where it was struck by a vehicle driven by Marie Roach, 51.
All three were transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Information on the conditions of Walker and Roach was unavailable. Rolfson was reported in good condition today.
North Ambulance assisted at the scene.
One hurt in two-vehicle crash
A 13-year-old girl was injured after the vehicle she was a passenger in was rear-ended by another vehicle on Wise Road north of Baxter.
The accident happened about 8:30 p.m. Thursday, the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department reported.
Arlonna Nehc was transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Information on her condition was unavailable.
Nehc was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Jennifer Chasco. Chasco had slowed to avoid hitting a deer when she was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Tonya Kirk, 50, the sheriff's department reported. Neither Chasco nor Kirk was injured.
North Ambulance and the Brainerd Fire Department assisted at the scene.
