Target to open more stores

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Target will open 24 new stores in 16 states by March 2001, the company announced Monday.

Target, which has 921 stores in 45 states, plans new stores in Alabama, Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina and Texas.
