Harold Clayton Lacy is back in jail.
Lacy, a Level 3 predatory offender released from prison June 24, was arrested by Department of Corrections agents and Brainerd Police officers about 8 p.m. Wednesday at his residence on the 600 block of Laurel Street on a DOC warrant.
Lacy, 36, was not arrested for a new crime, Deputy Police Chief Corky McQuiston said. The jail lists Lacy in custody for a parole violation. McQuiston said police assisted in the arrest but he didn't know what violation Lacy had committed. Lacy is on intensive supervised release until 2010.
Jake McLellan, Lacy's DOC supervising agent, said Lacy was arrested on a possible DOC violation of conditions of release. The matter is being investigated. He declined further comment.
Lacy, who moved to downtown Brainerd July 1, was the subject of a community notification meeting, because of his status as a Level 3 offender, on June 30.
