BEMIDJI - Arlene Gladys (Babcock) Falk, 83, Bemidji, died peacefully Saturday, July 14, 2007, at her home with her family present in Bemidji.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at the First Presbyterian Church in Bemidji with the Rev. James DeSmidt officiating. A visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. Interment will be at the Turtle River Township-South Arm Cemetery in rural Bemidji.
She was born March 30, 1924, in Daggett Brook Township, the daughter of Amos and Ivy (Anderson) Babcock. She attended grade school at Dist. 84 and graduated from Brainerd High School in 1942. On June 1, 1946, she was united in marriage to Harry Falk in Brainerd. They resided in the Bemidji area until 1947 where son Larry was born. They moved to the Brainerd area until 1954 where son Richard was born.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Harry Falk, Bemidji; two sons, Larry Falk, Indio, Calif., and Richard (Diane) Falk, Moorhead; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Faye Stuard, Brainerd.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
