Vernon H. Rohe, 63, of Brainerd and formerly of St. Paul, died Saturday, July 15, 2000, at Woodland Acres Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd.
He was born April 30, 1937, in Melrose to Herman and Bernadine (Van Heel) Rohe. He married Helen M. Partlow. He was retired from the Ford Motor Company, Twin Cities plant.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Brenda Roesler, Oakdale, and Lisa Fairchild, Florida; six stepsons, Ricky DeWald and David DeWald, both of Minneapolis, Randy DeWald, Brainerd, Scott DeWald, St. Paul, and Tony DeWald, South Carolina; three brothers, Richard Rohe, St. Croix, Ottie Rohe, St. Cloud, and Herman Rohe Jr., Richmond; a sister, Valeria Locknikar, Fridley; and six step-grandchildren.
His parents and a son, Marvin Rohe, died earlier.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Transfiguration Church at 6133 North 15th Street in Oakdale.
Friends may call one hour before services at the church.
