FORT RIPLEY - For the second straight game, the Fort Ripley Rebels pitching staff tossed a one-hitter as they captured the North Division title with a 4-0 shutout win over St. Mathias Sunday.
Tim Hoglin picked up the win, going seven innings and giving up only a double to Joey Tautges. Andy Waletzko worked two innings to pick up the save.
Rhett Williamson led the Rebels offense, going 2-for-3. Austin Schmolke also tallied two hits while Ray Austin drove in two runs.

BUCKMAN - Scott Geiger was 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, an RBI and three runs scored as Buckman eliminated the Pierz Bulldogs 12-1 from the East Division playoffs in seven innings Sunday.
Shawn Lanners was 3-3 with a run scored and an RBI for the Billygoats while Joe Kahl went 2-3, drove in four runs and scored twice.
Paul Herman had two hits and Mike Schwintek drove in the lone run for the Bulldogs.

LASTRUP - Nathan Janson finished 2-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and two runs scored as the Lastrup Lakers defeated the Pierz Brewers 9-4 in the East Division playoffs Sunday.
Dan Saehr was 3-5, Rick Schliemann went 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored and Reggie Litke was 2-4, with an RBI and two runs.
Pierz's Eric Boser had three hits, including two doubles and an RBI, while Chad Weiss had two hits, a double and two runs.

ST. MATHIAS - Adam Hardy went 3-for-4 with a home run and tallied three RBIs, four runs and stole home in a 10-0 St. Mathias win over the Harding Dinosaurs Saturday.
The No. 2 seeded Devils clinched second place in the North Division with the win.
Jake Francis was 2-3 with two runs and Joe Tautges was 2-4 with a run scored in the win. Zach Heidmann drove in two runs and Brad Streiff scored two runs for the Devils.
Matt Woitalla collected three of Harding's four hits.

RANDALL - The No. 3 seed Upsala Blue Jays jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead, but the second seeded Randall Cubs earned the comeback win with runs in each of the final three innings to win their first round game in the West Division playoffs Saturday.
Bob Sanders plated the game-winning RBI with a chopper back over the mound in the ninth.
Jason King had a double and pitched a complete game to take the win for the Cubs. King allowed two runs on seven hits.

Sobieski 12, Royalton 1
SOBIESKI - Brad Czech and Jeff Thoma hit back-to-back home runs in the second inning and Jon Czech and Aaron Hennes added two-run blasts of their own as the top-seeded Sobieski Skis romped past No. 4 seed Royalton 12-1 in a first round West Division matchup Saturday.
Jake Kluver went 3-for-3 and Brad Czech tossed a complete game six hitter while striking out three in the Sobieski win.
