EMILY - Eva Mitchell Triden, age 90, of Emily, died on July 15, 2007, at the Riverwood Care Center in Aitkin.
She was born Sept. 15, 1916, in Tipperyary, Iowa, to Augustine II and Marie Deshayes. She worked as a welder in Winslow, Wash., during World War II.
She is survived by one son, Conrad (Pam Stallings) Mitchell of Ennis, Mont.; two daughters, Joan (Loren) Miller of Emery, S.D., and Mona Mitchell of Crosby; one sister, Lorraine Sturdevant of Emily; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Charles Mitchell; second husband, Fred Triden; grandson, Steve Mitchell; three brothers, Augustine "August" Deshayes III, Elie "Eli" Deshayes and Arthur Deshayes; two sisters, Simone Teslow and Marie "Mary" Lingwall.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Wesleyan Church in Emily. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. Friends may call on Wednesday at the Koop Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.
