Brainerd, Little Falls split

Brainerd split a VFW doubleheader with Little Falls Tuesday, winning 6-1 before losing 5-4.
Mitch Bzdok won game one with a complete-game five hitter. He struck out one, walked two, hit two batters and allowed one unearned run.
Chris Sausen went 2-3 with a two-run double. Blaine Bubalo finished 2-3 and Jack Luke had an RBI double.
Bruce London was tagged with the loss in game two. Tyler Lenz started the game and allowed five hits, four runs and three walks with two strike outs. London pitched the final three innings. Lenz went 2-4 with an RBI.
Brainerd (22-8) is at Alexandria at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
