Area athletes compete in Nationals
Taekwondo
Nine members of the Engum's Academy of Taekwondo competed in the USA Taekwondo Junior Olympic/Senior National Championships June 30-July 5 in Austin, Texas.
Students competed in sparring, forms and board breaking categories and won nine medals.

Juniors competing were Robert Brown bronze in sparing, David Jensen bronze in sparring, Tristan Lindsay, Hannah Morgan bronze in sparring and Kaleb Quast.
Seniors competing were Theresa Dehning gold in forms, bronze in sparring, Rick LeBlanc silver in forms, Lee Anne Northway gold in forms, bronze in sparring and Vicki Quast gold in sparring.
