Nisswa NW Biathlon Club finishes second in Elk River competition

Zean Baker of the Nisswa NW Biathlon Club placed second in the second MNCup Summer Series Thursday in Elk River.

Baker completed the 5-kilometer event in 24:29 with 12 misses. He finished behind Ben Greenwald of the Twin Cities who had 11 misses in 24:00.

Baxter's Jenna Ruzich placed third in 26:31 with seven misses. She was the only woman competing in the event.

Ty Hadrits of Brainerd placed fourth in 27:23 with nine misses.

The next event will be on roller skies July 30 at Elk River.
