John E. Wensing

MINNEAPOLIS -- John Earl Wensing, age 78, of northeast Minneapolis, died July 12, 2005.

Survived by loving wife, Mary Ellen; children, Jeanne Ellingson, Laurie (Tom) Pierner, and John Todd Wensing; grandchildren, Nicholas and Clint Bailey, Lindsay and Kari Jensen; great-granddaughter, Emma Snow; sister, Shirley (Gene) Grhin; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Private interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the church. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lowry and Taylor Street in northeast Minneapolis. Friends may call one hour before services at the church. Arrangements are with Washburn-McReavy, Northeast Chapel.
