The butler didn't do it
Jessica Horman and David Wilson's duet of "Teeny Little Dinghy" is alone worth the price of admission to Central Lakes College's "Something's Afoot," which wraps its two-week run 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday in the Dryden Theatre on the Brainerd campus. Tickets are $5.
Sci-Fi Friday is back

"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" will be released at12:01 a.m. Saturday, and Book World in Baxter's Westgate Mall is planning games, contests and prizes starting at 9 p.m. Friday to celebrate the sixth book in J.K. Rowling's ridiculously popular series. Remember, kids (and adults): Pace yourselves.
He's, like, funny
Mark Poolos, known for saying "I'm like, 'What?!'" to punctuate the so-bizarre-they-must-be-true anecdotes that form his comedy set, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Scott Hansen's Comedy Gallery at the Rail in downtown Brainerd. Tickets are $5-$10; this includes admission to Pop Machine upstairs after the show.
