Entertainment! The granddaddy of them all for gambling and slot machines in the late 1930s and early 1940s was the original Bar Harbor night club on the Gull Lake Channel between Gull and Lake Margaret. Billed as Minnesota's largest night club.

Veteran Leo Marchel Sr., played superior golf to even that he showed in 1969 and 1971 to win the Brainerd Men's shortstop Invitational Golf Tourney title.
