AITKIN -- Darold Schneller, 72, Fleming Lake community, died Wednesday, July 11, 2001, at Riverwood Health Care Center in Aitkin.
He was born July 21, 1928, in Iroquois, S.D., to Harold and Emma (Blue) Schneller. He and his family moved to Litchfield when he was 5 years old. He attended Litchfield schools. He married Noreen Kehoe on Oct. 1, 1955, in Virginia. He worked for Adolphson and Peterson Construction Co., as a cement finisher. He attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in McGregor. He was a member of the Cement Finishers Union in Minneapolis.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Anthony, McGregor; three daughters, Robin Pratt, Palisade, Dawn Myhra, Walker, and Suzanne Frederickson, McGregor; nine grandchildren; and two sisters, Joyce Schlagel, Delano, and Peggy Thompson, Savage.
His parents; a brother, Dale; and a sister, Wanda Nelson, died earlier.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin with Delmar Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Fleming Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin and from noon until the time of services Sunday at the funeral home.
