Maybe Peter Herlofsky could donate his Hawaii trip to the payment of the lights downtown. Instead of going on that trip, he could donate that money.

There are others who are upset over those who come up on weekends and shoot off loud and also illegal fireworks in the area. Yes, in the "upscale" neighborhoods of Pelican Lake area, the noise and goings-on until near midnight was enough to drive one crazy. Should we just keep quiet? After all, they are trying to get away from it all. Or should we call and complain and be lousy neighbors. The first was the best option and 911 was called. There is a fine. Perhaps the people coming up to their "homes" should check up on that.
