PEQUOT LAKES -- Rose Marie Bilyard, 81, Pequot Lakes, died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
She was born Aug. 16, 1919, in Standard, Ill., to Michael and Mary (Ellena) Borgialli. She married Marshall "Mick" Bilyard on Nov. 24, 1943, in Kankakee, Ill. They moved to Pequot Lakes in 1959. They built the A-Pine Restaurant in 1964 and operated it until 1973. Her husband died March 7, 1967. She worked as a waitress at Breezy Point Resort until she retired in 1988.
Survivors include a son, John, Eagan; two daughters, Marsha Bungert, Pequot Lakes, and Susan Cairns, Brainerd; four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; a sister, Jennie Braun, Bourbonnais, Ill.; and a stepsister, Shirley Munn, Jacksonville, Fla.
Her husband; two sisters, Marguerite and Marie; and two brothers, Dominic and Larry, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Alice Catholic Church in Pequot Lakes with David Craig officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Illinois.
Arrangements are with Northland Funeral Home in Pequot Lakes.
