Pig roast, silent auction at lakes association event

OUTING - A Pig Roast and Silent Auction, called a "Luau at The Narrows," is planned July 25, at the Narrows Bar & Grill by the bridge on State Highway 6 in Outing.

It is sponsored by the Roosevelt & Lawrence Area Lakes Assn. right after the Outing 5K Fun Run on the same day, sponsored by the Outing Chamber of Commerce.

Silent auction times are noon to 7 p.m. Proceeds from the auction go toward additional water quality studies of Roosevelt, Lawrence, Leavitt and Smokey Hollow Lakes, the four lakes that surround Outing.
