PEQUOT LAKES - The city of Pequot Lakes will host a planning open house from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. July 23 at the Pequot Lakes City Hall.
All people interested in the future of the city are invited to attend. The purpose of the event is to share and receive information needed for the city to update its comprehensive plan.
Charles Marohn, a planner and engineer with Community Growth Institute of Brainerd, will make a presentation on July 23 at 12:30 p.m. on local and statewide planning trends and issues facing small towns today. There will be a shorter presentation that evening at 7 p.m. on the implementation of the 2003 Comprehensive Plan.
Multiple opportunities for public participation and feedback will be provided. Refreshments will be served at noon.
