LITTLE FALLS - Dusty Parker held Nisswa to two hits, while striking out six as Little Falls shut out Nisswa 2-0 in the first game an American Legion baseball doubleheader Tuesday.
Kyle Schaible and Colton Metzger tallied the only two Nisswa hits. Brett Cloutier took the loss, allowing one earned run on three hits, while striking out two and walking one in six innings of work.
Beau Hanowski doubled for Little Falls.
Trevor Thompson led Nisswa in a 9-5 game two win, going 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and four RBIs. Bronson Shepherd went 1-3 with two runs scored.
Ethan Nichols earned the win. He gave up two earned runs on four hits in 4 1-3 innings with one strikeout. Aric Hurd pitched the final 2 2-3 innings, allowing only one Little Falls hit in the win.

Crosslake 16, Aitkin 9
AITKIN - Bryant Szymanski hit two home runs and finished with four RBIs and Tyler Wicker hit a grand slam to life the Crosslake Legion baseball team to a 16-9 victory over Aitkin Tuesday.
Aitkin's Connor Butenhoff also hit two home runs and finished with four RBIs and Dan Grulke finished 3-for-4 with a two-run homer.
