Have you driven by the historic water tower on Washington Street this past week and looked up? If you have you probably saw a guy sitting up there.

That is Gary Walters and he is up there to raise awareness about Kinship Partners and to help recruit adult volunteers. His efforts are paying off but we still have many kids to find partners for. Please help Gary meet his goal of recruiting 20 new adult partners by signing up today.

Tanner is one of the boys on our waiting list. He is 8 and going into third grade. He lives with his mother and grandparents. He is a bright child who loves to talk about just about anything. Tanner's mother wants him to have a positive male role model since his father is not involved in his life. Tanner's interests are sports, he especially likes wrestling. He loves animals and is willing to try new things. He says he wants a partner that will teach him a lot of stuff.

Seth is also waiting for a partner. He is 11 and going into sixth grade. Seth recently moved to the area and is of Native American heritage. He is having a hard time adjusting to the move and making new friends. Seth's mother would like for him to have a partner who can teach him about his Native American background. Seth is friendly and happy most of the time. He is sensitive and gets his feelings hurt when he is teased in school. Seth likes sports, especially soccer. He wants a partner who can teach him about building models.
