FIRES

The Brainerd Fire Department was called at 6:55 a.m. Friday to a vehicle fire in the parking lot at the Brainerd Medical Center on South Sixth Street.It was reported that the fire started in the engine of a Mercury Mountaineer, owned by Jim Miller of Deerwood, and the estimated loss was $5,000.
