WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE, SECOND EDITION, Disney Interactive/Jellyvision

Quiz-show tie-in.

The folks behind this adaptation of the popular quiz show are no dummies. The first edition of this game, which was as hugely popular as the TV show, was fun to play but contained a finite number of questions: If you played it for a few weeks, you were bound to start hitting repeat queries. Hence, this Second Edition has arrived so quickly, and has since zoomed to the top of the sales charts.

This new edition looks exactly the same -- Regis probably didn't even have to show up to record new voice tracks for this update -- but the questions, for those of you still hooked, are a fresh collection of the show's usual blend of non-stumpers mixed in with the rare question that's just out of reach. As in the previous edition, you get a version of the show's three ''lifelines.'' Choose one and the game will, accordingly, knock out two of the wrong answers, have Regis ''call'' a friend to make a guess or display the results of a survey asking people what they thought the right answer was.

Bottom line: Some game developer evidently wants to be a millionaire, but let's hope CBS doesn't follow suit with a home version of ''Survivor.''

Details: Win 95-98/Mac; $20.
