Pine River man dies in rollover

LASTRUP -- A 35-year-old Pine River man died in a single-vehicle rollover Wednesday on Highway 27, seven miles east of Lastrup in Morrison County, the State Patrol reported.

Eric Paul Gilmer was driving a van westbound on Highway 27 at about 10:41 a.m. when his vehicle left the roadway, hit a field approach and rolled over, the State Patrol reported.

Gilmer, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene, the State Patrol reported. He was alone in the van.
