Sauk Centre rally beats Bees

The Sauk Centre Titans scored twice in the top of the ninth to nip the Brainerd Bees 11-9 in amateur baseball Sunday at Adamson Field.

Joel Martin was 4-for-5 with four RBIs for the Bees, Jaron Hanson was 3-5 with an RBI, Burrell Flanagan was 2-5 with an RBI and Tim Martin was 2-4 and scored three runs.

Tim Martin pitched seven innings, allowing 16 hits and eight earned runs, struck out nine, walked one and hit one.

Mike Shogren took the loss. In the last two innings he gave up three hits and two earned runs, struck out one and hit one.

The Friedrichs brothers went a combined 10-for-10 for the Titans. Joe Friedrichs was 6-for-6 and Bill Friedrichs was 4-4.
