BLAINE - Kenneth Eugene Aberle, age 80, of Blaine, Minn., passed away July 4, 2007.
He was born April 20, 1927, the son of Erwin Bassett Aberle and Lillian Linnea Aberle (nee Carlson).
Following his early education, he attended the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis where he majored in government contract administration; University of Southern California at Los Angeles, where his major was business administration, marketing and completed various extension courses at Long Beach, Calif., City College. He brought many years of experience in purchasing and inventory to his past position as a senior buyer/purchasing agent for Control Data Corp.
His interests were history, archery, bowling, fishing and raising show dogs.

Mr. Aberle and his wife, the former Melba Ellen Anderson, who preceded him in death, have six children: sons, Ken (Laurie) and Craig (Katherine); daughters, Marlene (Nathan) Cady, Linda (James) Tousignant, Carol (Manning) Voss, Debra (John) Matzke; grandchildren, Megan, Heidi, Joshua, Matthew, Allett, Kaitlyn, Seth, Ashley, Jeremy, Jeffrey, Taylor; stepgrandchildren, Joshua, Chassidy, Carrissa; and great-granddaughter, Bianca.
Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society. Interment will be in Grand View Cemetery. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 7, at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at Washburn-McReavy, Strobeck Johnson Chapel, 1400 Mainstreet, Hopkins.
