'U' fund-raiser set at Legacy

Posted: Wednesday, July 06, 2005

The Legacy Courses at Cragun's are hosting the fourth annual University of Minnesota Gopher Golf Fund-raiser July 15 in East Gull Lake.

The event is not just for University of Minnesota alumni.

The tournament will start at 11 a.m. with a golf clinic conducted by Gophers men's golf coach Brad James. A noon shotgun will start the four-person scramble on the Dutch Legacy course.

Social hour will start at 5 p.m., with dinner and awards at 6 p.m. in the Legacy Pavilion.

Cost is $135 per golfer or $540 per team of four. Non-golfers also are invited to join the social hour and dinner for $29 per person. Cragun's will help solos or twosomes by matching them with other golfers to fill out a foursome.

For more information or to register, contact Chuck Klecatsky at (218) 825-2737. Or register on-line at: http://www.craguns.com/golf/events_registration.html
