CROSBY -- Isabelle Beatrice Gagnon, 97, of Crosby, died on Monday, July 4, 2005, at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born on June 17, 1908, in Fort Ripley to Paul and Laura (LaForce) Schelling. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby and the National Catholic Society of Foresters.
She is survived by three sons, Clement (Irma) Gagnon, Ironton, Wallace (Ginette) Gagnon, St. Petersburg, Fla., Kenneth Gagnon, Deerwood; two daughters, Yvonne (Arthur E.) Olson, Deerwood, Jeanette Cuchetto, Deerwood; sister Audrey Letts, Beaumont, Calif.; brother, Victor Schelling, Beaumont, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by first husband, Joseph X. Gagnon, second husband, Joseph R. Gagnon, parents, a grandson, two brothers, Duane and Clarence Schelling. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Crosby. Burial will be on Friday at Holy Family Cemetery in Belle Prairie at 2:15 p.m. Friends may call on Thursday at the Koop Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Belle Prairie from 1:30 to 2 p.m.
