PleasureLand RV Center extends BIR sponsorship through 2004

Brainerd International Raceway announced June 30 that PleasureLand RV Center has extended its sponsorship through the 2004 season.

PleasureLand's sponsorship includes naming rights to BIR's RV park, which is called the PleasureLand RV Park. The park features 162 full-service RV sites and encircles Lake BIR, a landscaped shoreline and fountain. The park sits near BIR's main grandstand.

The PleasureLand-BIR deal also includes title sponsorship of BIR's annual Show and Go race, which is called the PleasureLand RV Center Show and Go and is scheduled the Fourth of July weekend. The event features classic cars that compete in drag racing and a classic car show.

"PleasureLand has become a critical partner in what we do here," BIR general manager Scott Quick said. "It's a brand that we're honored to be associated with and we believe that we're in the second year of a very long relationship."
