Brainerd firefighters battle attic fire; Nisswa and Pillager lend helping hand

The Brainerd Fire Department responded Friday to a house fire at 815 S. Seventh St. in Brainerd.

The fire was reported at 12:33 p.m.
The fire was contained in the attic, the fire department reported. The house, which contained apartments, sustained some smoke and water damage. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
The Nisswa Fire Department assisted at the scene, and the Pillager Fire Department provided back up at the Brainerd Fire Hall.
