This summer's edition of Rhythm of the Rails variety show will open July 13 for a seven-performance run at its Front Street stage in downtown Brainerd.
Now in its fourth year, the street performance of skits and song pays tribute to the Brainerd's area long association with the railroad industry.
The production this year includes a cast of 35, from age 5 to 75, who will don period costumes for the 90-minute variety show.
Most of the music and scripting recalls the humor of the period, as the "entertainers delight the audience with railroad lore."
Show times are 7 p.m. July 13-15 and July 20-22, with a 2 p.m. matinee July 16, all at 307 Front St.
Admission is $6 for adults, $2 for children or $16 for a family, and are available at the gate.
