Michael J. 'Teemsy' Teems
PEQUOT LAKES -- Michael J. "Teemsy" Teems, 40, Pequot Lakes, died Monday, July 3, 2000, at St. Cloud Hospital as the result of a motorcycle-deer accident.
He was born May 25, 1960, in Newport News, Va., to Donald and Shirley (Cassens) Teems. He married Gina Kriewall on June 13, 1987, at her parents' lake home.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Marisa Teems, Pequot Lakes; his parents, Blue Earth; a brother, Mark Teems, Blue Earth; and a grandmother, Ann Cassens, Blue Earth.
His grandparents, Onnen Cassens, Everett "Red" and Caroline Teems, died earlier.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes with Pastor David Stevens officiating. Burial will be in the Jenkins City Cemetery.
Friends may call from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be sent on behalf of Gina Teems for the establishment of a Marisa Teems Trust in memory of her father.
